Chinese-Made Zbtlink Routers Ship With Backdoor That Opens Unauthenticated Root Shells

사이버 보안 연구자들이 Zbtlink의 최소 20개 중국제 라우터 모델에 심어진 '공장 출하 백도어'에 대한 자세한 내용을 공개했다. VulnCheck의 보고서에 따르면, 이 백도어는 2년 이상에 걸쳐 제공되는 21개의 펌웨어 이미지에서 모두 발견되었다. 백도어는 자동으로 시작되며 중국으로 신호를 보내려고 시도한다.

Cybersecurity researchers have disclosed details of a 'factory-shipped backdoor' found in at least 20 Chinese router models from Zbtlink. According to a report from VulnCheck, the backdoor appears in all 21 firmware images available over more than 2 years. The backdoors are designed to start automatically and attempt to beacon to China.
