EU 의회가 Chat Control 1.0을 승인하여 최종적으로 사적 통신을 사전 의심 없이 대량 스캔하도록 허용한다. 표결에서는 반대가 찬성보다 많았으나 핵심 거부 동의안은 절대다수 361표를 넘지 못해 통과되었다. 이로 인해 2028년까지 해당 조치가 유지될 예정이다.
