Vercel has announced security patches for two critical vulnerabilities in the Next.js web framework. These vulnerabilities allow unauthenticated remote code execution, one of which can be exploited via specially crafted AVIF image files, while the other is related to a path traversal flaw affecting servers using a Windows filesystem.
