On May 5, four health-care workers in Ituri Province, Democratic Republic of Congo died from an unknown illness. Rapid response teams were dispatched to investigate, and tests in Kinshasa identified the Bundibugyo virus as the culprit. This outbreak is becoming increasingly challenging to control.
