Google has introduced HEIR (Homomorphic Encryption Intermediate Representation), an open-source compiler and development toolchain. It is designed to simplify the deployment of encrypted computation by compiling pre-trained AI models that were originally built for unencrypted inputs to operate on encrypted data. This makes it significantly easier to deploy homomorphic encryption for AI models.
