캘리포니아주 의회가 Linux를 연령 확인법에서 면제했습니다.

캘리포니아주 의회는 AB 1856 법안을 통과시켜 오픈소스 운영체제인 Linux를 Digital Age Assurance Act의 적용 대상에서 제외했습니다. 이에 따라 Linux 배포판의 연령 정보 수집 의무가 사라졌습니다. 이 면제는 복사·재배포·수정을 허용하는 라이선스에 해당됩니다.

California's legislature exempts Linux from age verification laws.

The California legislature passed AB 1856, exempting the open-source operating system Linux from the Digital Age Assurance Act. This law remove the obligation to collect age information for Linux distributions. The exemption applies to licenses that allow copying, redistribution, and modification.
