유럽에서 발생하고 있는 심각한 가뭄과 폭염이 강과 호수, 양식장의 수위를 낮추고, 수온 상승과 산소 부족을 초래하여 생태계와 수산업에 부정적인 영향을 미치고 있다. 특히 헝가리는 국토의 약 99%가 심각한 가뭄 상태로, 고온과 강수량 부족이 식생 감소와 사막화를 초래하고 있다.

Severe drought and heatwaves across Europe are lowering water levels in rivers, lakes, and fish farms, causing increased water temperatures and oxygen depletion, which negatively affect both ecosystems and the fishing industry. Hungary is particularly affected, with around 99% of its territory in severe drought conditions, leading to reduced vegetation and increasing desertification.
