Warning about security vulnerability in Honda Civic head unit.
A vulnerability has been discovered in the head unit of the 2021 Honda Civic, allowing physical access to run arbitrary code via accepting unsigned updates from a public AOSP test key. The updates are applied through Android recovery, and even if the recovery binary is modified, risks remain. This raises significant concerns regarding vehicle security.
