Tidal won’t pay royalties on AI-generated music but isn’t banning it outright

타이달은 AI로 생성된 음악에 대한 새로운 정책을 발표했다. 이 플랫폼은 아티스트를 보호하고 청취자에게 정보를 제공하기 위해 AI 생성 트랙을 식별하고 아이콘을 부착할 예정이다. 하지만 이러한 트랙은 더 이상 수익화되지 않을 것이라고 밝혔다. 이 정책은 7월 15일부터 시행된다.

Tidal has shared its new policies regarding AI-generated music, aiming to protect artists and inform listeners. Instead of completely banning AI music, Tidal will label tracks identified as 100% AI-generated with an icon starting July 15th. However, these tracks will no longer be monetizable from today onwards.
