Cybersecurity researchers have disclosed details about the BengalSEO campaign, a search engine optimization (SEO) poisoning effort. This campaign has been operating from Rajasthan, India since at least 2015, led by two IT service providers, such as WeConnect. It facilitates malware deployment and tech support scams by manipulating search results.
