Vim Classic 8.3.0이 생성형 AI 도구 없이 유지되는 안정적 장기 지원 Vim 포크의 첫 릴리스로 발표되었다. 이 버전은 Vim 8.2.0148을 기반으로 하며, Vim upstream에서의 버그 수정과 패치를 보수적으로 백포트하고 있다. Vim9 script 없이 사용 가능하다.

Vim Classic 8.3.0 has been released as the first stable long-term support fork maintained without generative AI tools. This version is based on Vim 8.2.0148 and conservatively backports bug fixes and patches from the Vim upstream. It is available without Vim9 script.
