AMD는 최근 AGESA 펌웨어 업데이트로 소비자용 Ryzen CPU에서 Transparent Secure Memory Encryption(TSME) 지원을 삭제했다. 이로 인해 사용자들은 메모리 암호화 보호 상태의 변화를 쉽게 인지할 수 없게 되었다. TSME는 OS 개입 없이 전체 RAM을 암호화하여 보안을 강화하는 기능이었으나, 이제는 지원되지 않는다.

AMD has removed support for Transparent Secure Memory Encryption (TSME) in consumer Ryzen CPUs following a recent AGESA firmware update.
