DesktopFly is a simulation that brings a 3D fruit fly to life on macOS, walking and flying across the desktop. It uses the real neuronal connections from the FlyWire v783 connectome for real-time spiking simulations. The model runs with 668 neurons and approximately 19,000 actual synapse connections utilizing a 1kHz LIF model.
