최근 Nanotron을 사용하다가 구형 GPU에서 충돌하는 문제를 겪고, 이를 해결하기 위해 Picotron을 개발했습니다. Picotron은 PyTorch를 지원하는 거의 모든 GPU에서 실행될 수 있도록 설계되었고, GPU 특정 종속성을 없애는 클린룸 재작성입니다. 또한, 코드 모듈 작성에 AI 도우미를 사용하였고, 현재 로컬에서 2M 모델 훈련을 완료했습니다.

After struggling with Nanotron, which crashes on older GPUs, I developed Picotron to eliminate heavy hardware-specific dependencies. It's a clean-room rewrite that runs on virtually any GPU supporting PyTorch. With AI assistance in writing code modules, I've successfully trained a small 2M model locally.
